Addiction and Prenatal Conditions in The Birth Chart

Marcela and I had the pleasure of meeting, listening to and learning from Jessica Lanyadoo. We attended both her lecture and workshop in Seattle the past week. The lecture was titled “High Times & Addiction in the Chart” where she demonstrated her talent for spotting potential addiction issues suggested in the birth chart. In her world she deals with many people who have these very issues and has developed a keen eye for spotting the patterns. Not to say we haven’t learned a little bit about our own patterns of addiction.

The workshop, titled “Prenatal Conditions in The Birth Chart”, was really about the modeling we received from our parents, their parents, and so on. The generational clues are also suggested in the birth chart. How it manifested, it’s particularities, are only known by the individual’s life experience. That’s where a one on one dialog comes in! It was a fascinating journey through the archetypal landscape looked anew through a modern focus.

She’s zany, quirky, a little weird (in a good way), a hard ass (as she describes herself), entertaining, enlightening and all around fun. It really was a pleasure to see the symbols demonstrated through yet another filter of life experience. Amazing stuff and not to be missed.

I understand Jessica will be at NORWAC and so there will be other opportunities to listen and learn. And I’m looking forward to them!
