About us
Our Story
We met at the very hectic Newark, New Jersey, airport, both of us waiting for the shuttle that would take us to the Noel Tyl Student's Seminar. Throughout the years, our paths occasionally crossed as we attended the yearly seminars at the same time.
However, there was that pivotal year when we decided to team up as accountability partners with a shared goal of completing our studies and finally graduating from Noel's very demanding program. This successful partnership not only helped us finish our studies but also sparked a decision to continue working together on future projects and in life.
Meet us
John
I’ve been studying astrology, off and on, since I was a teenager. I dabbled in “point and pick” astrology for years. I realized that I needed specialized training and sought out the world-renown master astrologer, Noel Tyl. This led to enrolling in Noel Tyl’s Master Degree Certification Course. It took years of hard work before I graduated with the highest honors.
A key tenet I will never forget is that “People make things happen! Not planets!” We are not puppets on a string manipulated by some “god". Noel helped me to see a chart through a humanistic and psychological lens.
My next step was to become certified by Chris Brennan in Electional Astrology. Electional Astrology is a tool used to find and select auspicious times to begin new ventures and undertakings successfully. Growth doesn’t stand still!
I have served the astrological community in various roles through the Washington State Astrological Association (WSAA). First as Membership Secretary from 2015-2018 term, Vice-President from 2018-2020 term, and President from 2020-2022.
I have lectured at WSAA, the Northwest Astrology Conference, and several other locations.
I am the developer and creator of a new Astrology Program that I called astroPeregrine. I created having the Psychological-Humanistic Astrologer in mind. Every tool we use at an easy and convenient interface.

I grew up looking up at the sky and the stars, imagining trips to outer space, and wondering about their impact on our lives. Then, as an adult, I found Astrology and, with it, a new understanding of myself and others. I would like to say that I found answers, but it would be more accurate to say that it raised more questions. Astrology opened my curiosity to explore how the symbols manifest so differently for each of us; it shows us the possibilities of manifestation, and we embody them differently within the context of our life’s circumstances.
I am a humanistic astrologer trained under Noel Tyl; I graduated with the highest honors in his Master's Level Course in Astrology. In addition, I am certified by Chris Brennan in Electional Astrology, where I learned how to use Astrology to select auspicious times to begin new ventures and undertakings successfully.
I have been busy serving my community since moving to the Seattle area in 2013. I was elected to the board of the Washington State Astrological Association (WSAA), the Association for Astrological Networking (AFAN) steering committee, and the International Society of Astrological Research (ISAR) Webinar Education and Internal Communications Director. I was Registrar for United Astrological Conference (UAC) 2018 Registrar that took place in Chicago, IL, and ISAR 2020 Conference.
In 2020, I became a Psychosynthesis Life Coach to support further my life purpose of helping and serving others to create a better and more authentic life and fulfilling my own Call of Self.
