Jason Holley, always charming, funny, clever, and very insightful, presented at this month’s Washington Astrological Association’s lecture and workshop. Mind bending times for all who were privileged to attend.

His lecture was titled “Uranus in Taurus: Breaking New Ground”. It was almost prophetic in how well it correlates with the times we are in. We’re talking about the planet of breaking things up meeting the immovable object. Something will have to give and what comes out will look very different then when it went in.

The workshop was titled “Psychodynamic Aspect Analysis: Re-Imagining Aspects Through Myth”. What I love about Jason is that he has an amazing sensitivity, a feel if you will, for the mythological archetypal correlations between the chart and human experience. It’s amazing how the myth of thousands of years ago echo the same themes we experience today. Human nature is always human nature I guess.

The difference is always where and how those stories are played out.  Each family, culture, society, and world is different from the one before. What we experience during our life is very different from the ones before. Our job (our journey) is to learn these stories, learn about ourselves and in understanding apply the lessons. That’s astrology at it’s best. That’s growing in our quest to become the best version of who we are capable of being.

Jason, thank you for helping me on my journey.
